I really like the design and the heels are not too high. But the outer sole is bit slippery on some surfaces, so I have to take these shoes to the shoemaker to fix them with more secure material.
Dear Sari. Thank you for the kind review of our Ida shoes, we're so pleased to hear you like them. The sole will get less slippery after a walk or two on asphalt or gravel path, but you can easily have a rubber sole added at a cobbler. Best Ditte
I'm use to having trouble with shoes fitting my feet. I have a slightly wide ball of my foot, with a high instep, and regular heel. I originally ordered the regular width Ida. That pair fit my foot quite narrowly everywhere. I exchanged them for the wide in the same size and that pair fit me perfectly. The exchange was really easy and the team's customer service were excellent. The quality of the shoe is very high. Nice leather inside and out. I love the heel. High enough to be dressy, but low enough to be practical.

Carried me without any break in time to as well a whole day walking and standing on the book fair and a balboa party night.

I ordered these in wide and for me, this makes them extra comfortable. I haven’t worn them out yet because it’s been very snowy here and I don’t want to spoil them. They are really lovely, though, and I’m looking forward to better weather when I can show them off.

I ordered the Ida in the standard size 5 and I couldn't get it on my foot! I have now however swapped it for the wide fit and they're gorgeous! A little roomy for me, but nothing that can't be fixed with some insoles . The product quality is superb, and they're perfect for my vintage wardrobe. I had problems returning them and swapping them for the wide fit from where I live ( not a Memery problem, a post office problem) but the customer service I had was second to none. I can't thank Lars enough for helping me as much as he did and being patient with the postal problems I was facing. Thank you so much. I think you deserve a medal! 🥇

Wore to daughter’s wedding. Very comfy size 7 wide fit. True to size. Bit different. I’m 5’9” so would never wear very high heels. These looked delicate enough without being silly.
