I love these shoes. They are surprisingly comfortable and sturdy for walking. There was a tiny bit of stretched out leather on the side of one of the boots but otherwise the shoes look as clean and beautiful as they do in the pictures. I would have loved to have a perfect pair but I don't want the shoes to go to waste because of a minor detail. :) I chose a half size bigger than what I usually wear and they were a perfect fit.

I had been coveting these beauts for almost 3 years and finally decided to get them and I am beyond happy with them. The fit is perfect (thanks to the sizing chart), the leather is so soft and flexible and they look and feel so elegant. I really am very happy with these boots and can’t wait to wear them more and more as the weather becomes colder!

Beautifully made, fit me well (I'm a 4.5 and bought a 4 so I would say they run slightly large, while the sandals that were a 4 were too small for me) and a lovely colour. Very comfortable so far! I hate wearing heels but boots are the exception and these are very wearable - although you do need to leave time for the laces!

I have wide feet, and after emailing with Mette I decided to size up and I'm glad I did! They fit absolutely perfect, and they're just as gorgeous as they look in the pictures. The vintage charm is just so obvious. I had some issues with shipping at first, but Mette was very kind about sorting things out. I totally recommend these shoes :)

I was so excited to get these boots, but I was concerned they might not fit well. After years of ballet, my feet don't take well to heels or pointed toe boxes, and sizing is always dicey since I wear a 10.5. So, I read reviews, chose size 11, and hoped for the best! When I took them out of the box, they looked so delicate and pointy I was nervous -- but I was instantly delighted when I put them on. They fit like a glove. I'm waiting to take them to a cobbler to have sole protectors put on to extend their life, so I haven't worn them out, but I wore them around the house for over an hour (mainly on tile!) doing all sorts of housework and was blissfully comfortable the entire time. And I haven't even mentioned how gorgeous they are! The heel placement is so charmingly different from every shoe I've ever had but exactly like what I see in fashion plates from the early 1900s, and the overall silhouette is just so elegant. I can't wait to have the soles finished and walk in the park in these this autumn!
